i don't want to sound trite, posting about death on a blog. but this is something that deeply affected me. i think in terms of how long he's been gone, how long it was since i last saw him, when we last texted. in this digital age it's odd that texts hold such heavy weight. they are so impersonal, is it necccessary to keep a text asking if i want to go out for a beer. the odd part is the not knowing....

Oh man, I went to another crazzzzy halloween party last night.

Rock climbing is the most fun you can ever have. It is like driving at 150mph then deciding to do a wheelie in your car kind of fun.

AH! ITS HALLOWEEN! WICKED FUCKING AWESOME. Yeah, i'm going to a party that is gonna have scads of dry ice. I'm going to be the vegan police! ANDDDDDDD I have a date for it. So excited.

I find it interesting what people thing other people's motives are. Personally, I find it thrilling when I'm wrong. Sometimes i feel so sure i know why someone is acting the way that they are only to find out that there was another reason for it.
